How to Register
You can join TEAL Manitoba in two ways, depending on whether you're also registering for our annual conference. Both options cover a full membership year.
Conference and Membership
If you're attending our annual MTS PD Day conference, register through MTS Member Link. Your membership is included with your conference registration.
Membership Only
If you missed us at our annual MTS PD Day conference, you can still register for membership with the following form.

Description text goesTEAL Manitoba is open to any educator working with English language learners in Manitoba — whether you're a K–12 classroom teacher, a school-based EAL support teacher, an adult education instructor, a university instructor, or an administrator. You don't need to be a full-time EAL teacher to join.

The membership year runs September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026. We encourage you to join early in the year so you can enjoy all events and benefits from the start.

If you're attending the annual MTS PD Day conference, register through MTS Member Link — your membership is bundled in. If you're not attending the conference, use the standalone membership form instead. Both options give you the same full membership for the year.

Mini PD sessions are shorter professional development opportunities hosted by TEAL Manitoba throughout the school year, outside of the main October conference. They cover a variety of EAL teaching topics.

Yes — TEAL Manitoba is a Special Area Group (SAG) of the Manitoba Teachers' Society (MTS). This means our professional development events, including the annual MTS PD Day, are recognized and supported through MTS.
